3450 Dufferin Street, the image acquired from submission to the City of Toronto. Is a huge site located opposite Dufferin Street from Yorkdale Shopping Centre. Currently occupied by a 12-story Holiday Inn hotel with 372 rooms and 460 parking spots built-in 1970. Because a three-tower building that will include residential, hotel, commercial, and also the restaurant uses.
About the Towers
The plan proposes to establish zoning for a set of Page + Steele / IBI Group Architects-designed structures. Including towers of 29, 33, and 37 stories joined by the podium and mid-rise structures. Including townhome units, as well as a podium and mid-rise structures containing townhome units. The project would include 342m2 of restaurant space at grade. As well as public realm modifications such as a new road network and a 1,802m2 public park, in addition to a new 255-room hotel housed within the tallest tower. The towers would be positioned along the curving path of the 401’s eastbound Dufferin Street offramp. With heights stepping down towards the site’s intended public park in the southwest corner.
